Gatherings
What to expect
The gathering of the church is not only a command (Hebrews 10:24-25), but it’s the high point of our week! Because of that, we strive to center our gatherings around the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word. Each week we read the Bible, pray, sing songs, preach, and participate in the Lord’s Supper.
What to wear
In terms of what to wear, we encourage you to dress how your conscience permits. With that said, you’ll find that most of our congregation is in casual or business-casual attire.
Bible translation
The majority of our Bible teaching is from the English Standard Version (ESV).
With that said, you’ll find several faithful translations utilized by those in attendance on any given Sunday. If you don’t own a Bible, we provide copies of the ESV, and you’re welcome to take one home as our gift to you.
Children
Kids of all ages are welcome in our worship gathering.
During the worship service, a staffed Nursery Ministry (ages 0-2) and Kids Ministry (ages 3-5) are available for parents to utilize. From a young age, we want our kids to hear the gospel and become familiar with this incredible news! To aid in that, our Kids Ministry will teach an age-appropriate, gospel-centered lesson each week from The Biggest Story Curriculum.
You can find our Child Protection Policy here.
If your kids are ages 5+ and you’re concerned about them being disruptive during the worship service, please don’t worry (easier said than done, right?). But rest assured, we love the sound of children, so if they get squirmy then that’s just fine.
Hang out afterward
Part of our regular gathering is to provide light snacks afterward. Our hope is that this will encourage individuals to spend a little time afterward engaging in conversation and building deeper relationships with one another.
